Clever Icelanders, using an idea seen in New Dehli, made the school crosswalk look like it was floating to get cars to slow down "What the?". Story and more pics here. Looks like a fun tourist photo op too.
Normally drone footage is of beautiful scenery, here's a case where it's actually used for the good of humankind: There's a refugee crisis right now as oppressed Muslims are fleeing Myanmar. The drone footage helps to show the scale. Click here to see the video (3 min).

Fall is my favourite season, for the temperature and the colours, and it always feels like here in Vancouver we actually don't get the fall colours for very long or this vibrant, so I've been pretty happy. Glad we were able to visit Sunstone for our Landscape photographs last week, the leaf colours should help make them great. |
