"We are looking for striking images from green spaces, beaches, roadsides and your backyard, that represent the resiliency of local wildlife living at the interface with humans. The BC SPCA Wild ARC cares for more than 2,500 injured and orphaned wild animals a year.
There are 2 categories to the contest:
Wild Settings
Local wild animals found in their natural habitats around British Columbia.
Backyard Habitats
Wildlife in this category can include but is not limited to the ingenious behaviours of urban wild animals using man-made structures or habitats (birds at feeders, perching on buildings, etc.) in British Columbia."

I AM A VOICE is a video youth initiated contest to spread awareness about epilepsy. Like the words I AM A VOICE, it perpetuates the need for more people to understand and recognize epilepsy."

Design : Museum of Anthropology T-shirt Design Contest
Every year the Museum of Anthropology has a t-shirt contest. Entrants must be 15-25 years of age who identifies as Indigenous, Aboriginal, First Nations, Inuit, or Métis.
Want to have your design featured on a MOA t-shirt? The contest is open from Feb - Apr. 30.
The winning shirt design will be sold exclusively at the MOA Shop for one year. The winning designer will receive a $250 prize and royalties.

Delta Police "Wrap our Ride" Contest
Delta Police have been granted a seized Escalade that needs decorating. If you have ideas for a design, check out the details here. There's even a CAD template if you've used that program.

Poster Contest for Aboriginal Youth
The theme of the poster is "Traditional Knowledge and Medicine", is open to kids 5-18 with Aboriginal or Metis ancestry, and is due May 15. Below are some more details, and here are winners from past years.
- Participants must note their name, band affiliation or ancestry, postal address, phone and email address and/or grade, teacher, school, & school postal & email addresses on the back of all posters or in covering emails.
- Posters must reflect the theme and can be on any size paper up to 11x17. Any type of artistic medium may be used, i.e. pencil, crayon, paint, mural, collage, computer graphics etc. You may glue or tape any natural textures, including seeds, sweetgrass, flowers, leaves, fur, feathers etc. to the poster with a description on how they are used in relation to traditional knowledge and medicine. Emailed submissions are welcome as long as they are 300 dots per inch resolution and scanned at the actual size. A .jpg or .pdf file is fine.
Photoshop/Design: Sears DX Canada High School Design Competition
There are 5 different areas, one is in Graphic Design, so you'd use photography and photoshop. The theme changes every year. This year's theme is: Special Delivery. Details are here.
