This video is a stop motion video made up of a year's worth of staged photographs in different places in California. I don't think I can explain how cool it is, both as photographs and as a video. Notice they sometimes add a neat effect where only the center is in focus and the top and bottom are out of focus. This can be attained with a Tilt shift lens, which can be cheap (LensBaby) or can be added in an editing program afterwards. And my gosh, does the right song ever make a difference to the impact of a video! Notice that the climax of the song coincides with the fireworks? Definitely by design.
