Today Piper (my daughter) took part in a photo shoot! It was for a brand of clothes that are incredibly beautiful, the Vancouver company is called Redfish, and was started by a mom who was handmaking clothes for her own kids and people were offering her money to make them some. They were surprised to see their clothes show up in the movie Eat, Pray, Love, where Julia Roberts pulls out a dress she was saving for her future child. The clothes are being sold in the Maternity and Baby store that Ms. Fairchild (Uyeyama) has started in Richmond. We are most excited to have Piper hopefully make the Spring Catalogue so we can have it as a souvenir or frame it or something. Here is a link to their catalogue so you can see the beautiful pics, and they also had someone make a video during their photo shoot from last year. It was very interesting to be in a professional photo shoot for the first time (the photographer is from New York and has shot celebrities and for ex. Vanity Fair, New York Times), and nervewracking trying to get Piper to behave. But she loves trying on clothes so she was happy. She got to keep one of her outfits as payment. Comments are closed.
